GHOST TOWN

Ok. For starters, Everyone in this county listens to music, almost everyone in this county loves to go to a show, weather it's music, movies, etc.. The problem is that this these citys that make up this wonderful county has nowhere to go see it. As an artists myself, has found it extreamly difficult to even perform in this city. Granted I've done a few shows at brother's bar in j'ville, some at the smokin moose, house parties. The problem is When u do a show in Jacksonville it's the only 18 and up club for your younger fans, but when they leave the gotta worry about the cops pullin them over; makin their good memory a bad one. We you do a show in Anniston it's 21 and up only. My younger fans (witch my music caters to) can't even come. LAME! And when you do a house party, MORE COPS show up than kids. I recently took a trip to Nashville, TN only 4hrs. away. and I could tell a major diffrence once i got into the city! Finally Atomsphere!!! Music, Art, People, and the stores even the little ones. " Open past 8:30. WOW!!! Then i come back home! Noble Street!! Empty building after empty building. Why is that? the only time people are even on that street is 2 pay alagasco. Or Old people going to Classic on Noble. People wonder why there are no jobs? Really? This is our down town. a "Ghost Town" after dark! where are our I love Anniston, I love Oxford novelty shops? where are our independant anything shops? where are out local misic cafes'? where are our 18 and up clubs for the kids to hang out at? where are the Mom and Pop stores that everyone is welcome at? Where is our Welcome matt??
Im on a mission to change this city, but i cant do it alone, The ones with the power to help us wont. the want the city to stay the same, but the dont realise there letting it rot like the old theater! So i need you local artist, people w/ i deas, people w/ visions to help. "We" have to do something to change this place! Bring life to the " GHOST TOWN"
